pilgrim – A traveler on a journey to places with deep meaning.

CAMERON NELSON, Creative Director

Cameron was fortunate to grow up in Colorado and Washington. From a young age, he saw the beauty of the West, which sparked his imagination. He adventured in high school because of his proximity to wild spaces. Having skied, snowboarded, mountain biked, hiked 14ers, backpacked, camped, ran up Crested Butte, rafted the Gunnison River, and raced too many 5k’s before college. These experiences of growing up near the Cascades and Rockies influenced his work heading into his major in graphic design at Colorado State University.

Pilgrim first began as a design studio, working freelance for friends and family. During a stint in an advertising firm in Nebraska, he would travel back home to Colorado. He often wandered to new places during this pilgrimage or revisited his favorite spots. This wanderlust from home was the beginning of Pilgrim Design Company’s journey into creating apparel.

A COMPANY BOUND TO WANDER

At times, the path of life isn’t clear. Other times, it can be easy to navigate. At Pilgrim, we celebrate the places that hold significant meaning in our lives. As pilgrims, we wander to places because of their beauty, the solace they can provide, or the adventure we seek.

Pilgrim Design Company celebrates these journeys. Rooted in the mountains where we love to fish, hike, and camp, our apparel is forged by our experiences and powered by wanderlust. Our goods are designed for the curious and not mass consumption. We are bound to wander. Whether it’s discovering a new fishing spot, summiting a peak on our bucket list, or just relaxing by the fire with friends. The experiences – known or unknown – make our lives richer.

So follow us along this life journey and join us on the pilgrimage of our small and might adventure goods and apparel company.

The more I see as I sit here among the rocks, the more I wonder about what I am not seeing.
